We Know What Aircraft Enthusiasts Want
At Airtug, comprehensive quality-control measures are standard. You can expect industry-leading parts & warranties, and our aircraft tugs carry a 30-day money-back guarantee. Our Alaska customers love our high-performance aircraft tugs which are a walk-behind design rated for aircraft weighing up to 16,000 pounds.
Our tugs serve FBO’s and commercial and private planes, and we supply compatible accessories and equipment designed to maximize the ease, safety, and efficiency of aircraft maneuvering.
Our NFE-4 Aircraft Tug
You will want to check out our NFE-4 aircraft tug – it is compact and ideally suited for Cirrus Aircraft as well as for most nose-fairing aircraft and other castering or non-castering nose-wheel aircraft up to 4,000 pounds. The engine of the NFE-4 utilizes a quiet 24-volt electric motor, and the tug comes with two batteries and an on-board Smart Battery charger.
The NFE-4 tug is designed for super-simplistic, single-user performance thanks to the ease of the lifting of the nose-wheel. Just attach the small tow-bar to the aircraft and winch the tow-bar/nose-wheel onto the raised platform, and the NFE-4 is ready to take over!
This tug’s control is based on its unique ‘thumb-throttle’ system that utilizes an electric transaxle w/differential. The ‘return-to-brake’ feature prevents any unintentional movement of the craft upon release of the thumb throttle.
